Arlo 🤍 If you missed the story on how we ended up with a FIFTH dog, here it is. Last week I was driving, running errands when Alex called me. He asked if I saw the FB post he sent to me on messenger. I went and looked and it was the cutest pup sitting at a local animal shelter. Within the next hour my sister Brook sent me the post for the sibling of said cute pup. I wanted to go meet them but my day was slammed. I got home that evening and Alex said “Awh, I was hoping you were coming home with a puppy.” THATS MY MAN.
Fast forward to the next day, Brook and I had cleared the day of anything but fun. Which meant Home Depot for paint and Venus fly traps, lunch, then to the animal shelter. The staff informed us one of the brothers had already been adopted by then, which made me feel like Arlo was the pup that was meant to come home with us. The second I met him I loved him. He reminded me so much of Hazey, and I loveee Hazey’s independent calm demeanor. We scooped him up and took him home. I got to surprise Alex that evening with the pup in the back of the truck. His transition has been so smooth and it’s like he’s always been here. He follows Hazey around like a little toddler. And I’m very happy to say she loves the company, just like I’d hoped. Anyways. What’s 5 dogs when you already have 4. And what’s 6 dogs when you already have 5…
