Our little lady Alice, man she's been through so many health issues but we believe she's finally coming out on top.
The lesson kids love this little lady so much. She's gentle and kind. She will be available for adoption in a few months.
Update June 24, 2024:
We had to say goodbye to our sweet Alice today. These two foals we rescued with their mothers; both of them had multiple health issues. Archie (on the left) passed away half a year ago after trying everything to save him. Alice has always had ups and downs, but over the last few months she's declined and lost so much weight despite our efforts. She's been at the vet for about a week and she's still continuing to lose weight and her energy is completely gone. After scoping we found she has birth defects that makes her food collect in her gutteral pouches.. not good. We've done everything possible to save her. With the health issues on going for months and her weight at an all time low, we agreed with our vets that it was time to let our weary Alice rest.
