Annie

Our darling orphan Annie.

She's scrappy and she's a fighter. Shes curious about humans, but still hesitant. She came to the auction at her mother's side, I actually noticed them because they looked identical. But We didn't have space to add 2 more donkeys. When Monday came around my heart sank when I saw her pacing in a pen, no momma in sight. Annie was bought by the kill buyers and her mom bought by someone else, and already hauled away. My heart broke for her. Although she is borderline too small to ship I knew she'd just continue being traded around, if not shipped. We came together and raised the funds to take her out of that cycle forever. Now she's nearly through quarantine and I can't wait to show her humans aren't all bad.
