Blaire. She was a last act of kindness.
Our darling Blaire… another tough story to share. We were notified quite quickly of what they found for Blaire. She had a sadly progressed tendon sheath infection, that had started affecting the surrounding bones. Unfortunately, she had been suffering from this infection for too long. Another sad find. It looked as though her leg had been previously shaved from being worked on, and she had two holes that looked like scope holes. All the signs point to someone finding her injury, realizing it was too late, and instead of humanely euthanizing her they dumped her at an auction and walked away with a check. I’m sorry for more dark news tonight. Sweet Blaire got a lovely bucket of grain in a safe space. Those were her last moments. I’m grateful we were able to give this to her. I’m sorry we didn’t meet you sooner, Blaire. I’m sorry someone didn’t do right by you. You deserved better, you precious soul.
