Our sweet little man Delta.. we knew he had a collapsed Trachea but did not realize the extent of the damage until the vets scoped it and realized it was much too large of a damaged area to be able to put a stent or permanent Trach in to allow him to breathe effortlessly.

Quality of life is always our #1 priority for our horses. Him fighting for every breath is unfair and painful. Even with throat spray and steroids his breathing was still worsening.

With his collapsed trachea and him having to fight for every breath, We, along with our vets, made the tough call to let him go I'm so sorry Delta, I thought we'd be able to get you comfortable and living life to the fullest. Breathe easy little man. Say hi to everyone for us.
