Willy Wonka was rescued from a livestock auction in Texas. He is a permanent resident at SMRR.

I can't even believe I'm typing this. We tragically lost Willy today. He went to the vet with his best bud Savvy to have his feet trimmed, sheath cleaned and castration done. The procedure went flawlessly, perfect heart rate through the whole thing. No signs of distress or potential problems. Right as they were finishing up and
taking him off sedation, his heart rate was gone. They tried everything to bring him back, but our sweet boy was gone, Just like that. Everything was done text book perfectly,
Sometimes things just happen that wreck us and we can't understand it. We just can't believe he's gone. Horrible trauma of not being able to save him. Just gutted... still can't believe our magical boy is gone.
