There is a never ending supply of horses and donkeys needing new homes when you look online. The reasons varying but the same ending - they need them gone.
So many times at auction I wonder if their owners know they ended up in the worst place imaginable. Often times the original owners have no idea. I do understand that life happens and sometimes there truly is no way to keep your equine family members. But please, PLEASE, please do your research where they’re going. Be certain they’re safe. It’s not their fault they got old, slow, or stiff. Do right by them if you’re not going to keep them. Make them sign a contract. Go see the pasture they’ll be living in. Check their references. Protect your horse. ♥️
